Winnow Cottage

Winnow Cottage is a peaceful, sunlit, south facing cottage with views across the barley fields to woodland beyond under wide open skies. You have wildlife on your doorstep with birdlife, deer and hares, at night you have the deep darkness to see the stars and the Northern Lights. The cottage is easily accessible with one step at the entrance, there is plenty of guest parking space close by. All linen and towels are provided and a travel cot is available.

Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxed self-catering stay, including a full-size fridge/freezer, microwave, and oven with hob. Whether you’re preparing a cooked breakfast before a forest walk or an evening meal with local produce, the space is designed for ease and convenience. A dining table provides a perfect spot to enjoy your food with views across the fields.

Patio Area

Step out through the front door and into your own private south-facing patio space. With a sturdy table, chairs, and a sunshade available, it's perfect for morning coffees, quiet reading sessions, or al fresco dinners. The area looks out over open farmland, often dotted with seasonal wildlife, and is sheltered enough to enjoy even on breezy Scottish days.

Comfortable Living Area

Relax in the bright, welcoming living space complete with TV, radio, a handpicked selection of books, and classic jigsaws — ideal for winding down after a day outdoors.The cottage is easily accessible with plenty of guest parking space close by.
